The Kingston Impact Basketball Club and Tourism Kingston are proud to host the 2022 Ontario Basketball U19 and U17 Women’s Ontario Cup in Kingston over the May 13-15 weekend.

This year’s event will feature 44 U19 teams and 22 U17 teams. That means 131 games will be played in 9 gyms across Kingston.

Queen’s University will host the entire U19 division while Kingston Secondary School and Frontenac Secondary School will split the U17 division.

For the full weekend schedule:

This would not be possible without the support of over 100 volunteers and workers from the local basketball community, Kingston Secondary School, Queen’s University and Tourism Kingston.

We would also like to give a big shoutout to Mr. James Wallace and KDBABO for finding referees for 131 games. Not an easy feat in our small community.

In terms of local content, there will be 3 teams from the area participating.

Kingston Impact, coached by Eric Finn, are the 3 seed in Division 1. They play all their games in the main gym at Queen’s. Game times are:

  • Fri 7:30 pm vs. CE Team Iconic

  • Sat 6:00 pm vs. Blessed Sacrament

At the Division 2 level, Belleville Spirits, the 7th seed, will play their games in Bartlett Gym at Queen’s:
