Academy starts this weekend

Hello Kingston Impact Basketball Club community,

The KIBC would like to welcome everyone to the much-anticipated opening of our Basketball Academy on Saturday, October 22. 

We have taken this hiatus to listen to previous feedback from club members, and we have redesigned our development league into the Kingston Impact Basketball Academy.

We want to provide our players an opportunity to develop sound fundamental basketball skills, balanced with competitive team play in a safe and fun environment that will promote their love of the game.

All of our divisions will be running out of the centrally located Kingston Secondary School. Please note on the attached link to the schedule, that there are two dates which will see the Academy running out of near-by Regiopolis-Notre Dame.

We would also like to remind the players in the Bantam Boys division of their time slot change to now being 1:55 PM -3:25 PM.

What to expect on opening day:

  • Entry to the gyms will be from the back of KSS, from the main parking lot. 
  • There will be a registration check-in table to confirm your player's attendance and which gym they will be in.
  • Jerseys and basketballs will be handed out at this time. (Note: Mini's in 8:00 AM session will have their basketballs waiting for them in their assigned gyms) If you ordered the wrong jersey size, we will be able to try and swap them out during week 3 only. We have very limited sizes and can only swap unworn jerseys, and we may not be able to accommodate a size change.
  • Each gym will have their coaches and student leaders waiting to greet them.

The Impact Basketball Academy Refund Policy is as follows:

  • To request a refund, the Impact's administrator must receive a written request by email.
  • Full refunds will be provided up until the start of the 1st session only.
  • Up until the start of the 3rd scheduled session, the club will provide a full refund less $70 administration fee.
  • After the start of the 3rd scheduled session, no refunds will be issued.
