The St. Lawrence Lightning on behalf of the Kingston Impact and the Brockville Blazers Basketball Clubs are pleased to announce the Head Coaches for our inaugural season.

U19 – JUEL: Jason Reynolds

Jason has coached for over 25 years at various youth levels on both the boys and girls sides. As a community high school coach at La Salle S.S. (Kingston), he took his Senior Girls teams to 11 OFSAA championships in his 13 years leading the program. Most recently he has coached with the Kingston Impact at the JUEL/JUEL PREP levels.

U16 – JUEL PREP: Randy Douglas

Randy joins the Juel scene after 8 years of coaching with the Brockville Blazers, primarily in the U14-U16 Girls age group. Recent notable success includes a Div 1 bronze medal with U14 Girls in 2021-22 season and Provincial Champions with the U15 Girls competing at the U16 level in 2022-23.

• Sunday August 27 at St. Lawrence College (Kingston)
  • U16 (JUEL PREP) 9:30 am – 11:30 am
  • U19 (JUEL) 11:30 am – 1:00 pm

Registration for tryouts is now live. It will be through the Kingston Impact website. There will be a $35 non-refundable fee to participate.
