Our Major Bantam Boys - Nashed had a very successful weekend at Provincials, capturing a Silver medal in Division 5.

Our team fought back from a 28-4 deficit in their first game of the tournament, defeating Sudbury Jam 54-47.  The boys showed a ton of grit and tenacity to come back from a slow start!

Saturday's games were also close, but our boys came away with wins against both teams – defeating York South 54-41 and NK110 62-48 – to advance to the Gold medal game on Sunday.

Our boys played their hearts out in the Gold medal game, with solid defense and resolute offence, but came up just short at the buzzer.

Congratulations to all the boys for a great season.  A big thank you and debt of gratitude to Joe Nashed, Sean Desjardin and Rick Carverly for the time and effort you gave to our boys all season.
