Our Major Atom Girls team is returning with big smiles and gold medals around their necks. The team went undefeated 4-0 over the weekend to capture the Ontario Cup Gold medal in Division 4.

Seeded #1 in their division, the team had to battle hard to win the first 2 games of the tournament defeating Triple Balance 42-40 on Friday night before squeaking out another 2 point victory beating Cambridge 36-34 Saturday morning.

In the Saturday afternoon game, the girls had a more comfortable 28-19 win over Orangeville.

In the gold medal game Sunday, the girls continued to play solid defense and score enough to win 26-18 over Etobicoke.
